Meet Jordan
Hey it's Jordan, the person behind Jordan Kate Photography. I am from the small town of Amherst, VA. My love for photography began at a young age when I started taking pictures of the mountains around my house, and those same mountains are now my most popular location for my client sessions.
I started this business after I graduated high school in 2017, and it has been amazing meeting all of my sweet clients, and making all of the friends I have through this little small business journey.
I have the most precious doggos, Colbie, Westin, and Woody.
When I am not behind the camera or spending time editing you can find me working as a Paramedic and Firefighter in my hometown, or making candles, my newest hobby. I absolutely love what I do, and because of my wonderful clients who have believed in me, I get to do what I love. It truly is a dream. God is so good, y’all!
Me In A Nutshell
I am a lover of all things outdoors, new adventures, and doing anything with my sweet friends. Some may say I have three jobs, but I'm always doing what I love - whether I am behind the camera, making candles, or working as a Paramedic and Firefighter.
Awards & Honors
In 2021, I was proudly awarded a Readers’ Choice Award for the Greater Lynchburg area in the Photo Studio/Photobooth, Wedding Photographer, and Family Photographer categories. Readers’ Choice is the most credible and pre-eminent awards program of its kind in the Greater Lynchburg area. This year, more than 57,000 votes were cast for outstanding businesses in more than 175 subcategories; 525 winners out of 2,149 businesses were nominated. I am so blessed - thanks to each of you!
